RonovanWrites #Weekly #Haiku #Poetry Prompt #Challenge #85 Tight&Warm – you  are invited to write by Rononvan Writes.

I’m publishing Martha’s haiku first. I will try to write later after I’ve exercised and exorcised; fit body, fit mind.

Martha emailed me these haiku to me yesterday about two of my favorite well loved nieces. Thanks, little sis.

Fall Creek Fall State Park

Martha and I took a short road trip the middle of October to Fall Creek Falls State Park to hike and enjoy the fall colors. We were disappointed to see because of the warm weather the leaves weren’t anywhere near peak. But we had fun and enjoyed the hiking and the warm weather.
This is my first production of a slide show. I know each time I try it will get better and easier.

What’s For Breakfast

Hugh has a photo challenge going on. Today we are suppose to use a picture of our breakfast.

Martha and I agreed to buy a NutriBullet. Mark had a juicer, but that extracted the pulp/fiber. We need more fiber so the NutriBullet fit our needs. Nutribullet2

IMG_1601 (1)Now we share a smoothie nearly every morning. It provides us with 2 servings of veggies, dark leafy greens and a carrot, and a serving of fruit, milk, flax seed and almonds or walnuts.

We really enjoy them.

You might be curious why we don’t use Almond or Soy Milk. One word, sugar. Neither of us are lactose intolerant, nor are we vegetarian, so thanks to Ms. Cow we enjoy 2% milk (from Happy Cows!)

Bon appetite!

George Bernard Shaw

Elizabeth, this is our last day to chose a quote and a photograph to represent it. I’m directing others to your day one. Martha and I enjoyed the challenge and our collaboration.

Day three – George Bernard Shaw (1856 – 1950) is a well-known play write and winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature.

Think about this:

While you are living with family, they participate in creating you. When we are of age we continue, consciously or unconsciously, in the creation of oneself.

I would like to invite Vashti Quiroz-Vega to participate in the three-day challenge to post a quote and picture/s each day.

Happiness

Elizabeth invited me to chose  photographs to represent favorite quotes for three days. Take a stroll over to her site to see her photograph of clouds and a quote by Rabindranath Tagore.

Day twoMartha chose the quote/s. We couldn’t make up our mind, so we offer you two; one warm and fuzzy, and one that has height and length in making one ponder.

Happiness is a warm puppy. Charles M. Schulz

We recently added to our family. Meet Gidget, a Yorkshire Terrier that a friend couldn’t keep.

I think these are two of sister’s best haiku. The pictures she picked are exceptional too. I can’t find who made the drawing or who the Metropolitan Hermit is. I was drawn to the saying about climbing into your shoulder blades for wings.
