Day Two of Quote Challenge

Annabell Franklin I like the three-day challenges! They are fun, and it gives me the opportunity to present some of my favorite blog author’s quotes. Thanks for the invitation to participate.

Rules of the Challenge

  • Thank the blogger who nominated you
  • Publish 3 quotes on 3 consecutive days on your blog. It can be your own, or from a book, movie or from anyone who inspires you.
  • Nominate 3 more bloggers to carry on this endeavor

My invitations are going to:

Heena Rathore P.

Dan Alatorre

I’ve chosen my quote from the writings of Heena Rathmore.

“Having failed in NaNo at least this time, I knew what was my weakness. So I chalked out a rough plan and went headfirst with loads of determination and a solid outline for my novel. As the end result, I not only completed the first draft of my book with 52K words but also developed a habit of writing 2K per day.”

Heena helps me think about failure turned into success. She doesn’t give up. We only fail when we give up. Success comes when we get up one more time after being knocked down.

  1. I’m glad you’re enjoying the challenge. I like Heena’s quote as well, and your comment on it.. I didn’t manage the full word count when I did NaNo either, but I carried on writing after ‘time’ was called, and the result is The Slapstyx. NaNo gave me a great head start – definitely worth doing!

    • I didn’t start writing until I retired. 20o9
I joined a writing group. I learned so much from those people. I was the next to the oldest. One thing I learned, I’m a short story writer. I sold 5 pieces to Barber Press. 2 For the heavenly humor for the cat lover’s soul, And three for the dieters soul. Congratulations on your success.
