There Must Be A Name For This

This is one habit I can’t seem to break. I have different activities that are “my favorite thing.”

  1. Reading
  2. Blogging (reading and writing)
  3. Crocheting

When I decide I’m going to read, that’s all I do for two days. That’s about my speed in reading a novel. Crochet, I must finish, so everything else goes by the wayside.

I advocate organizing and having a plan in order to accomplish more than one activity a day. For instances, blog in the morning, crochet in the afternoon and read at night. Does that work for you? HA! I don’t want to do that. I want to focus on one thing at a time, please.

bookclubI’ve been invited to join a book club! We start Tuesday the 6th. We meet and read a book a month. I’m looking forward to it. The first book is All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr.

allthelight-209x300It is a Pulitzer Prize winner. I’ll be writing about the book and my first meeting soon. Have you read it?

  1. I am quite opposite you Meredith. I always have too many things going on the cooker at one time and a feeling of incompleteness gnawing at me! Add it to the list I say. I do eventually finish things…short attention span me thinks. Kudos to you for seeing things through. Enjoy your book club!

  2. Hi Meredith, so lovely, a book club, I wish I was close to you and be part of this club too. I set time for everything, 1 hr blogging, 1 hr writing, 1 hr cleaning,….., if not I can’t catch up with stuff. Have a great weekend!
