I enjoy Kevin Spacey’s talent as an actor. I wouldn’t call myself a fanatic. I’m fanatic about music, is a more accurate statement. I really get excited when I discover someone has a talent for music or plays an instrument. Just by happenstance I discovered Kevin’s ability with the harmonica, and his wicked raspy voice. This was filmed November 19, 2014 in a celebration with Billy Joel when he was honored with the Library Of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular song.

  1. Meredith, watching the “Piano Man” brought tears of love to my eyes. It is a spiritual experience to see people on the stage and in the audience joined in song, especially in Washington D.C. And all because Kevin Spacey has a hidden talent to play the harmonica and the people know his song. Thanks. ❤

  2. I am a HUGE Billy Joel fan and was lucky enough to see him in concert in Hoffman Estates, Illinois years ago. I’ve never seen this version of Piano Man. I watched the whole video from beginning to end and just loved it. Thanks for the tip and for making my day.

I’m going to send a link to the buddy I went to the concert with. He will flip.
