King’s Choir

“The King’s College of Our Lady and St Nicholas in Cambridge was founded in 1441 by King Henry VI and munificently endowed.” YouTube     There is about fifty minutes on this video, all Christmas music.

I would love to visit this beautiful, historical church and be there for this Christmas musical with a mix of choirs. Better yet, I’d love to sing with them.

      • Either the spring or the Autumn, Meredith. If you don’t mind the heat and humidity that the UK sometimes gets in the Summer, then that is a perfect time, but it’s probably also the busiest. The winters can either be wet and mild or cold and snowy, the latter if visiting on Christmas Eve.

If you make the trip, be sure to let me know and I’ll buy Martha and you dinner 🙂

      • I will. My hearts desire is to visit Ireland as well. I was in England last in ’83. We were there on business, but I got some sight seeing in. My desire to go to Ireland was ignored, alas.
