This past Sunday Mark, friends of his and I took in an Angel’s game. I was excited as it was my first time to attend a professional baseball game. My favorite part of the whole experience was when a young lady sang the Star Spangled Banner, accented with fire works when she sang “the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air;” and at the 7th inning stretch when we stood and sang along as she preformed God Bless America. We also sang Take Me Out To The Ball Game. The Angel’s played a lack-luster game and the Tampa Bay Rays fared only a little better. We left at the top of the 8th. The Rays won 2 to 0.
I would go again if we get the opportunity. But just between you and me, I think my sons games of T-ball and little league were so much more exciting.
