Buddy has been expensive and a challenge to train:
Ruined love seat (hole chewed in arm) $300
Assortment of training harnesses (chewed off) $40
Post of my bed (splintered – teeth marks) $100
Playmate for Nick PRICELESS!
After the first few days of getting acquainted, Nick and Buddy are the best of playmates. They chase each other through the house at break neck speeds, play hide and seek, and use their woven rope bones to stage tug of war battles. All of these activities take place with a great deal of growling and barking. They keep Jerry and me entertained. Oh go on and say it, we are easily entertained. The laughter and joy they bring us is worth the price.

Amazing dogs.

What a pair you’ve ended up with! Heidi would like to play like that with CJ, and occasionally he will lead a chase down the hall or around the couch. But CJ was just a little too old and well established to accept another dog as full of it as Heidi is. I think he has missed Pixie almost as much as we have.
